Caliente!

So for the Fourth, we're going to Caliente, NV to see my grandma, which should be fun. They always make a big deal of holidays there since it's such a small town. I'm excited to see my family and eat some good food (hopefully). Last time we went was a year ago, when Erik & I were Engaged. We drove over in the hot middle of summer with no ac, but the year we won't roast! I'm so excited... This is the whole reason I wanted a car with AC. We're bringing Duke and David is flying over to make the drive with us. I'm bringing her a blood glucose meter from work and it'll be fun to actually put what I've learned and my connections to a good use. I mean, i do it at work every day when random people need help, but it'll be nice to see someone I love benefit from using it.


Anyway, we got curtains for teh kitchen. It looks nice. still trying to figure out what to do to redecorate in there. It's a little boring. :)

    I'll be working on the 4th.

    It's been forever since I went to Caliente... I'd like to go see everyone there again sometime.

    I wish I could go, but I'll be there in spirit. Next year for sure! Jason, you would love it, Uncle Dub loves to take his relatives out on his ATV's.

    Carolyn Colored a picture at work (they had a work wide contest) and then displayed the winners in the lobby at work, I was on my way out and was looking at the winners only to see Carebear's won Best overall for her project. :)
